Slide 13 |
The purpose of this slide is to point to video materials recorded in Second Life. Many such videos have been made and posted to YouTube and other free video repository sites. The NMC has catalogued a number of these in a wiki maintained at this link: http://www.nmc.org/campus/Intro_videos
The Texas State University at San Marcos video was mentioned earlier as a good look at a work in progress on a build where the learning objects are now only envisioned: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iRNP6IJwY90
I played this one at my presentations. The Harvard Law School offers classes in Second Life conducted by Rebecca Nessen. Her father, a professor there, pulls up on his motorcycle, merges with his avatar, and shows us around: http://blogs.law.harvard.edu/cyberone
Many other video resources are listed at my web sitehttp://www.vancestevens.com/secondlife_rationale.htm
