(4) What have the Webheads been doing for the past three years?

Webheads have always experimented with cutting edge free multimedia chat clients.

Some of our favorites

Real Media player for sharing video and sound files (allowed us to share voice and video on our web site)
The Palace avatar-based text chat (humanistic, fun, our 'old times' favorite)
Hear Me Voice chat (voices in real time! At last ... but went defunct finally ...)
Excite voice chat rooms (went defunct in May, 2001, just as we were presenting at a conference in Cyprus!)
Homestead text chat (free, easy, but didn't keep logs except through tedious cut and paste !!!)
Currently: Tapped In (convenient, well developed and funded, built-in community, keeps logs)
Yahoo! Messenger (find each other online, instant messaging, voice and video web cam enabled)
Our Wimba voice discussion board (under-utilized)
