Meet Peter

I have been popping in and out of sessions for a while now and I have already met some of the community but am looking forward to meeting more.

I am a teacher at the British Council here in Tokyo where I have been working and developing webprojects for the last three years. My latest project has been with www.bcjapanonline.com which aims to be a kind of forum for our school where teachers and students can communicate outside of class time and teachers can follow up lessons and themes with links to extra material. So far, through this project we have persuaded many of our web-shy teachers and students to begin to embrace the Internet as a central part of their classes.

Webheads interests me because of its emphasis on community and the experimentation with new aspects of Internet technology.

I'm married with a small baby (Leo) who is now a very demanding one year old so it's not always easy to make the sessions on Sundays. However, I promise to do my best.
