(4) What have the Webheads been doing for the past three years?

Webheads have always experimented with cutting edge free multimedia chat clients.

Some of our favorites

• Real Media player for sharing video and sound files (allowed us to share voice and video on our web site)
• The Palace avatar-based text chat (humanistic, fun, our 'old times' favorite)
• Hear Me Voice chat (voices in real time! At last ... but went defunct finally ...)
• Excite voice chat rooms (went defunct in May, 2001, just as we were presenting at a conference in Cyprus!)
• Homestead text chat (free, easy, but didn't keep logs except through tedious cut and paste !!!)
• Currently: Tapped In (convenient, well developed and funded, built-in community, keeps logs)
• Yahoo Messenger (find each other online, instant messaging, voice and video web cam enabled)
• Wimba voice bulletin board (under-utilized)
