Meet Marta

I am from Nicaragua (Central America) but I have been living in N.Y since 1994, which means that I have been here for 8 years. I am studying English in a college, with the purpose of being accepted in a College of New York City.

I am 37 years old, I am married, and I have two children, 16 and 9 years old.

I am a teacher. I teach math for adult students in New York who want to take their G.E.D diploma. This is the equivalent of the high school diploma. Also I work with elementary students as a tutor, helping them with their home work.
