Meet Jiabei Pan

I've been in LA for 9 months. Now I'm studying to pursue a masters degree. Living in the new place is nice; I like the weather in Southern California the most. It's sunny almost every day. Even in winter, you can just wear a T-shirt and shorts in the sun. I'm afraid that I have been spoiled by the mild weather.

LA is a monster city, consisting of many smaller cities. Someone jokes that it looks like a large pastry and Downtown Area looks like the sesames in the middile. Although I live in LA, actually I live in a suburb which is 30 miles away from downtown. So life here is not like that in Shanghai, it's simple. People work in the day, and come back home in the evening. Shanghai seems to be more dynamic. But I still have fun here. The freeway system is so convenient that you can go anywhere you like. So if you have a car, you will find many exciting things to do.
