Hello! I am from Brazil, Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais. I am 41
years old, and I have two children (boys) aged 15 and 16. I have been divorced
for the past 14 years. |

I have been working with recycled papers, handmade, for 20 years. My
school training is in Arts, especially engraving. I´d like, very much, to
speak and write English well, because there are many other artists in the world
who make paper too, and I need to communicate with them.

On Feb 4, 2002, Nicia wrote ups about her preparations for
Carnival:
Hi Vance, I´m just working in Carnival for an association of
people who collect recycleable materials on the street. We made all fantasies
using the "trash" materials, and talking about people who live from that, what
we can do to put an end to this way of life and make a good world for all with
recycling.
I will send some pictures, and mabe some "samba" music.
This is a special moment for us, with happiness!
